For myself I shoot a lot of black and white film that I develop and print on my own. What I like most about the darkroom process is that I can go from picture to print without having a computer involved. Its a different mentality compared to shooting digital. Shooting – developing – proofing – printing. It takes time, but is worth it in the end. Its a little like shooting polaroids – minus the speed plus reproducibility.
