Cross Processed

Photographic technique

Cross processing (or xpro) is is the deliberate processing of photographic material in chemicals intended for a different type of film. Most often color reversal film, processed in C-41 print film chemistry, resulting in highly saturated, high contrast pictures. The results vary depending on the used film stock and lab. Not every combination results in my desired look. For me, that is a combination of out of production film and a tiny little camera. You can find more cross processed photographs in the blog, tagged xpro
